Shortly after Tet Holiday, I was delighted to meet Sheila and Matteo from Albini Group, on their trip to Ho Chi Minh City, presenting the new Thomas Mason Bespoke 2026 collection - a well balanced range that reflects how modern clients dress today, from classic business shirting, to more refined options for formal occasions, and lighter, more expressive fabrics for casual wear.
The Collection consists of over 1,100 fabrics across 13 themed books, the catalogue brings together the brand’s finest fabrics, with illustrations by Mr. Slowboy, who captures the everyday adventures of a contemporary gentleman.
We spent hours discussing fabrics, the latest designs, weaving technology, to the brand’s commitment to sustainability and human health safety in productions, such as the achievement of OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100,..
On the following day, we had the pleasure to welcome Sheila and Matteo to H&D Tailor’s store and is also our workspace — where consultations, pattern making, and cutting all take place. Every garment we produce starts here, with each piece cut directly in-store, reflecting the level of attention we bring to our tailoring.
A picture of Sheila, Matteo and I in front of our cutting area, where a part of our client’s paper patterns are hung in the back. On the right are the new Thomas Mason Collections at H&D Tailor's shirting corner.
Complementing the bespoke collection is the latest Spring/Summer 2026 seasonal offering from Albini1876 and Thomas Mason. This seasonal collection stands out for its fresh color palette, interesting textures, the innovative treatments of Aloe vera finishing for linens, and a rare but so well executed cotton & silk mixture of Brighton Silk,.. As with most seasonal collections, availability is limited, some are already running low as I compose this article, and we would encourage those with an interest in exceptional shirting to visit us soon!
Accompanying the main and seasonal collections is another nice surprise, a special publication: The Guide to Shirt Fabrics, developed in collaboration with Permanent Style to celebrate 230 years of Thomas Mason. It’s a great read for anyone interested in shirting, whether you’re deeply into fabrics or simply want to understand them better. The magazine is now on our shelf, ready for you to explore at H&D Tailor.
We would like to extend our thanks to Sheila and Matteo again for their visit. For us, staying close to the mills we work with is essential — it brings our team the opportunity to deepen our understanding of the materials we work with every day, and ultimately help us guide our clients toward the right choices for their wardrobe and lifestyle.
The new Thomas Mason Bespoke collection, along with Albini and Thomas Mason Spring/Summer 26 collections are now available at H&D Tailor. Book an appointment with us and discover the collections!
